Actress Yami Gautam says she wants to be careful while choosing films so that she does not let down her audience.
Yami is now doing 'Total Siyapaa' after her first film 'Vicky Donor'. "It's not really fair to say I am choosy.
I think I am a newcomer and of course after getting such good response for the first film, it's very natural that you want to be more careful. As an actor I don't want to do something which I have already done before," Yami said.
"I do not want to do a role which is similar to the previous one or the concept and the genre. That is why I took time and I am glad this offer came. It justified the time that I have taken to sign my second film," she said.
In her previous film, the actress was seen falling in love with a boy from a different caste. In 'Total Siyapaa' too she plays a Punjabi girl, who falls in love with a Pakistani boy, played by Ali Zafar.
"This time I have progressed, have crossed the border. The story is completely different, you can't compare this with my first film. The character of Asha Singh which I play is different, it's a story based in London, and it's a love story between a Pakistani boy and an Indian girl," she said. Yami thinks the script is the hero of the film. "You can never predict a hit or a flop but it's about what you are happy doing as an actor.

I am not from the industry, I come from another town and for me reaching here, I am very happy. When I go out and I see the genuine appreciation from the people, that's a big thing for me."

Jiah Khan's death story is getting murkier by the day. Rabia, Jiah's mother claims to be in possession of a forensic report which states that there no fingerprints of the deceased in the room in which she hanged herself.
Intriguingly, the objects like the fan from which Jiah was found hanging, a water bottle she frequently used had no finger prints. The air-conditioned room's sliding window, which was found open despite the AC being on.
The Juhu police handed over this document, to Rabia this Monday, which was prepared by an expert who had collected fingerprints from the spot. The prints were gathered between 12.30 pm and 1.15 pm on June 4, the day after Jiah was found dead.

Another document - a DNA report of the human tissues and blood found in Jiah's fingernail clippings, blood found on the mattress in the room where she was found dead and blood found in an adjoining room - has also been handed over to Rabia. This report, dated November 22, says all the samples belonged to Jiah - including the blood found in the adjoining room.
Rabia has sent these reports and other related documents to an independent forensic expert for analysis and a report is expected in a few days. However, Rabia's advocate Dinesh Tiwari said he will bring these points to the notice of Andheri Metropolitan Court, which is hearing Rabia's application seeking the exhumation of Jiah's body. The court is likely to hear Rabia's application today.
Tiwari also cited the findings to question the credibility of the police investigation. "How is it that the fan, water bottle and open window do not have any fingerprints at all - including Jiah's own? This clearly shows someone has cleaned the site of offence," he said.
He added this also supported Rabia's contention that someone could have entered the first floor apartment from the building's entrance ledge, which is very close to the open window.
On the DNA reports, Tiwari said after having raised the issue that blood and human tissues found in Jiah's nail clippings indicated a struggle before she died, the police now say the blood and human tissues belonged to Jiah. "Where are the corresponding injury marks on Jiah's body? The post-mortem report does not note any such injury marks," he said.
Tiwari further questioned the finding that Jiah's blood was found even in the adjoining room. "How can that happen? It is no one's case that Jiah had any cut marks on her body. Then how is it that her blood was found in the adjoining room? This clearly shows that something had happened in that particular room," he said.

In a candid interview Shraddha Kapoor reveals her inner thoughts and says that if someone were to betray her, he would go straight to hell, like Love Ka The End? " Cheating is a definite no-no. Her man has to be all his or never mind!" she states emphatically.
One man who is completely hers is daddy dearest Shakti Kapoor who has been so happy post Aashiqui 2 that he can't stop smiling. "He did a cameo in my first film, Teen Patti. I was so nervous that I goofed up a couple of takes till he put me at ease," she reminisces.
Growing up, did it ever bother her that she was the daughter of an onscreen baddie? "No, my dad was both an iconic villain and a popular comedian. So, I could only be proud of him. I loved his Crime Master Go Go act in Andaz Apna Apna and Raja Babu's Nandu," she says.
She must be equally proud of her aunt, Padmini Kolhapure. Which of her films, if remade, would she like to star in? "I wouldn't dare star in a remake of her films. Maasi was so good. Fortunately my favourite film is Prem Rog and it can't be remade. It is impossible to replicate what Raj Kapoor did with that movie."
From the South to the North, Shraddha has just returned from Kashmir after the first schedule of Vishal Bhardwaj's Haider. Going by recent reports, locals of the Valley are still miffed about Kashmir being passed off as Manali in Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani, and are no longer all right with a Bollywood film crew disrupting their daily lives. And two days ago, the Kashmir schedule of Bhardwaj's film came to a standstill owing to protests by locals.
However, Shraddha is hardly perturbed. "I had been to Ladakh, but this was my first trip to the Valley and it was like being in paradise. I was mesmerised by the beauty of the Valley and did not feel any bad vibes. I can promise that in our film Kashmir will be Kashmir. I'm playing a local girl and reached a day earlier to observe the locals and their unique sing-song way of speaking."
she is happy romancing Siddharth onscreen, but she has also signed Gabbar with Akshay Kumar, who is much older than the actress. Ask Shraddha about it and pat comes the reply: "I've idolised Akshay for years. Moreover, I found the script of Gabbar so entertaining that there was no way I would have let the project go. "
Aashiqui 2 is one of the biggest hits of the year. So why hasn't she signed another film with Aditya Roy Kapur? "We haven't been offered any films together after Aashiqui 2," she retorts. And is Aditya more than a costar? "We're friends. Period," she laughs.
So, what is the way to Shraddha's heart? "Just be honest and true to yourself," she says.
