One expects a fun score for the film Total Siyapaa, which is a comedy of errors.

Ali Zafar is the central protagonist, as well as the singer-composer for the soundtrack. Not just that, he also writes most of the songs, with Kumaar and Aqeel Rubi chipping in.

The title song, Total Siyapaa, is quite humorous. Kirron Kher's dialogues pepper this three-minute piece a la the song Maa Da Laadla Bigad Gaya (from Dostana). The track is an all round show by Ali Zafar
It has a good rhythm and the song also has an eye-catching music video that features Ali and the other members of the film’s cast, Yami Gautam and Kirron Kher, quite prominently. Expect this one to play as the end credits roll, though one does feel that in the album it comes way too early.

Next up is Palat Meri Jaan, which is a chartbuster all the way.

It starts slow, and rightly so, as by the time the hook of Palat Meri Jaan arrives, you have been sufficiently warmed up by Ali Zafar's soft vocals.

A romantic number that has a lively feel to it and is well complimented by a well shot video, Palat Meri Jaan moves on seamlessly to the antara portions that have a feel-good factor that seldom fails. This one deserves to be played on loop.

There is a Spanish sound in the beginning of Nahin Maloom. Ali Zafar sings this song which has a rhythmic feel that is well complimented by the overall melody.

With prominent use of the guitar, this number maintains a good pace right through its four-minute odd duration. Ali is joined by Fariha Parvaiz, an established singer in Pakistan for many years.

Together they ensure that Nahin Maloom is an entertaining number.

Ali continues his stint behind the mike for Asha, which is leading lady Yami Gautam’s name in the film.

A conversational number, this one too is high on beats, but with a certain child-like feel to it. It is a sweet sounding number and is situational. Like Nahin Maloom, the picturisation will determine whether it has a long run.

The album concludes with Bulley Shah's traditional number Chal Buleya. A slow-moving sombre track, it shows a different facet of Ali Zafar. He sings it well, with the right amount of pathos. However, the number is strictly situational and one hopes that it doesn't slow down the pace of Total Siyapaa which is expected to be a fun-filled film.

Total Sipayaa starts off quite well with a cracker of a number in the title track. It is followed by one more number (Palat Meri Jaan) which can easily rise up the popularity charts.

The rest of the songs, though decently tuned and sung, are primarily situational and may become popular after the release of the film.

Not many know that Zareen Khan is quite a tomboy in real life. The actress loves to ride bikes and goes on road trips.

Katrina Kaif's relationship status with Ranbir Kapoor may be complicated or even non-existent at present but at least the Dhoom: 3 actress has one alleged ex-boyfriend she can count on.

In an interview, Katrina Kaif told Dainik bhaskar: "Salman Khan is always there, he is always just a message away. I am still very much in touch with him."

Trouble in the Katrina-Ranbir paradise was reported after their recent holiday to New York and though they were spotted at Aamir Khan's some weeks ago - albeit arriving separately - they are believed to have spent Valentine's Day apart.

Salman, on the other hand, is famously close to both Katrina as well as another ex-girlfriend, former model and actress Sangeeta Bijlani. And it's not just the muscle-bound Dabangg star who watches out for Katrina, the entire Khan-daan does. "We are the only family she has here. She gets pulled up by me, my sister, my father, my mother. And she has to listen, she's good at listening," Salman told NDTV in 2012, a day before the blockbuster Ek Tha Tiger - starring Salman and Katrina - released.

So it was Salman Katrina turned to when it came to her sister Isabel's Bollywood debut - Dr Cabbie, which co-stars Speedy Singhs' Vinay Virmani and The Big Bang Theory's Kunal Nayyar, features Salman's name as co-producer.

Of course, Salman knows all about Being Human but, when it comes to Katrina Kaif, we suspect it goes a little further than just being gentlemanly towards an former flame.
Salman Khan hosted a small get-together at his place on Wednesday night. Interestingly, present at this do were his Jai Ho co-star Daisy Shah and former girlfriend Sangeeta Bijlani.

A source says, "Salman has shifted back to Galaxy apartments now and the do was held at this residence. Sangeeta Bijlani reached his place around 10 pm and soon after Salman's recent co-star Daisy Shah walked in. His family was in attendance too."

The source adds that during the get-together, Salman even fed Sangeeta a few bites.

It seems that Salman, who is shooting for Sajid Nadiadwala's upcoming film Kick, had some time off and that he decided to make the most of it by having friends over.

"Sangeeta is a family friend; she came over for dinner and so did Daisy," says the source.

However, another source says that Sangeeta and Daisy just happened to drop in at his place on Wednesday evening and then decided to stay on for dinner.

"It's a norm that anyone who comes over during lunch or dinner time has to have food with the family. And that's exactly what happened on Wednesday night," says this source.
The two mighty Khans, Salman and Aamir, are known to be fond of each other. So recently when the two happened to be shooting in the same studio (Aamir for Satyamev Jayate 2 and Salman for a show), they couldn’t resist meeting each other. On learning about Salman’s presence, Aamir rushed to meet him in his vanity van. The two indulged in a hearty conversation for a good 20 minutes. Not just that, people outside could hear great laughter emanating from the vanity van!

Speaking about her excitement on being a part of this project, Monica said, "I am so happy I did this project. I feel like I made genuine and real friends in an industry where friends are hard to come by"
In one of the small cabin in the upscale Yash Raj Studios, half a dozen journalists are waiting to interview one of India’s most famous woman. And then Priyanka Chopra enters the room, looking cool in tight trousers, a high ponytail and ferociously-heeled shoes. Good at being a star, she’s always well turned out. Everything about her is sharp and sexy.
Film actresses always seem a little smaller in the flesh and in Chopra’s case, her waist for one is non-existent. It’s not easy to believe when the actress reveals that rice and parathas are her favourite foods! She seems to fill the room with her charisma. It’s not easy to pin the star down for an interview because of her jam packed schedule, but once she agrees she is warm and receptive.
As we sit down to chat, the globe trotting Chopra glows as she talks about her latest release Gunday. If she charmed with her autistic act in Barfi!, then she’s endearing in her Dhakai sarees, the one-sided loose plait and a bindi in her recent film release. The film promoting her as a cabaret dancer was just a tip of her role in the film; there’s more that unravels about the character. “I am very proud of Nandita. What I love about her is that she’s very righteous and believes in black and white, which is very like me. She is a no-nonsense person and has this superior air about her, even though she is a very normal girl. I think women should carry themselves like her,” she says with an enormous and disarming smile.
The movies Chopra has done so far constitute mainly of good cinema. In a career that spans more than a decade, she bagged a National Award for Fashion within the first five years itself. She went on to top her performances in films like the critically acclaimed Kaminey, Saat Khoon Maaf and Barfi!, where she bowled over the audience as Jhilmil. And now she has Mary Kom for which she is undergoing extensive physical training. Do these intriguing characters stay with her and leave an impact on her? “Almost all my characters impact me in one way or the other, because I get so closely involved with them. Barfi! changed me as a person. The autistic Jhilmil’s world is just three feet around her and she finds happiness in this tiny world around. Playing Jhilmil in Barfi! taught me to find beauty and happiness in the small things of life. Fashion in which I play a supermodel, taught me that everyone’s life need not be like Meghna’s whose stardom went to her head. It taught me that one needed to get a grip on stardom. I didn’t want my life to be like Meghna’s and I made sure that it wasn’t,” says the actress.
There is always a curiosity about big stars who we watch
