Bollywood actress-producer and entrepreneur Shilpa Shetty says she can't step out without a piece of jewellery or accessory, especially a solitaire.

"I love jewellery and I can't step out without having one on my body," she told IANS.

"I am a big solitaire fan and I feel that goes with every look of mine. Whether its western wear or Indian wear, a solitaire with earrings is good to go," added the actress. She was talking on the sidelines of the launch of Anmol jewellery store in the capital Tuesday.

Looking pretty in a pre-stitched sari and full sleeves black blouse by designer Masaba Gupta, she accentuated her look with an elegant neck piece.

The actress doled out tips on how to choose the right jewellery for the festive season.

"Make sure that the piece is not heavy, but still oozes glamour. Choose jewellery according to your body type rather than going with popular opinions," she said.

Anmol Jewellers newly opened store is located in Greater Kailash market.
Pakistani actor Fawad Khan, who recently met Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan, said he found the PK star energetic and enthusiastic...

The 32-year-old actor, while hailing Aamir, 49, as an inspiring human being, said he is impressed by his TV talk show Satyamev Jayate, which highlights sensitive social issues prevalent in the country.

"I have watched Aamir saab's films, he is a talented actor and an actor to look up to because he has such a versatile body of work.

"I got to know about his TV show and how that has solved a lot of problems in a lot of ways… Aamir is an inspiring person as well an actor," Fawad told reporters, while promoting his Bollywood debut Khoobsurat.

The young star said that Aamir is an intent listener and even though he is a veteran in the industry, he values what others have to say. "It was good fun meeting him. He is a very enthusiastic person, he has got a lot of energy and he listens to you so intently with eyes wide open whereas he has got so much experience," the actor said.

Fawad also met Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan while appearing on game show Kaun Bangea Crorepati along with his Khoobsurat co-star Sonam Kapoor.

Bollywood actor Shahid Kapoor who is waiting with bated breath for the release of his latest film Haider, recently had some interesting things to say about his onscreen chemistry with ex-girlfriend Kareena Kapoor.

The Shahid-Kareena starrer Jab We Met, which will complete seven years next month went on to become the biggest blockbusters of the year 2007, however Shahid confessed that they were not really expecting such a monumental response from the audience.

While speaking to a leading daily, Shahid revealed that the low expectations from the film had to do with Shahid and Kareena's spate of bad luck as co-stars in previous films such as Fida (2004), 36 China Town (2006) and Chup Chup Ke (2006), none of which did wonders at the box office.

Shahid went on to say that the duo were indeed what could be termed as a 'flop pair' due to their unsuccessful collaborations. So he was surprised when people enjoyed watching them together in the epic rom-com Jab We Met.

Shahid apparently got a bit nostaltic thinking about the cult status that the film has recieved now, however he still gushes about the fact that it went on to become such a big hit.

Wonder what Bebo has to say about this!

"Kaun Banega Crorepati" (KBC) turns fourteen this year and so does Amitabh Bachchan's association with the popular game show. The Bollywood megastar finds the longevity "alluring".

"KBC an association of 14 years and its longevity still alluring," the 71-year-old tweeted.

It was in the year 2000 that Big B associated himself with KBC, which also marked his foray into the world of television. Not only was the show hugely successful, it widened Big B's reach, thanks to his demeanour and humility.

KBC, the Indian version of internationally popular show "Who Wants To Be A Millionaire", is currently in its eighth season and is aired on Sony Entertainment Television.

Celebrities like Priyanka Chopra, Deepika Padukone and Rani Mukerji have already made their appearances in the ongoing season.

If Salman Khan's latest prediction is to come true, then the transistor in Aamir Khan's next PK poster might be replaced with an iPod.

Salman told the press at a recent conference for Bigg Boss 8 that, "Main PeeKay bolunga. Aamir is now roaming with iPod. He has sold his transistor." Some weeks ago, Aamir had dared Salman to drop his clothes, just as he had for the first PK poster. "Salman wore the Dhoom: 3 hat for me in Bigg Boss, so now I want to see if he does this. Let's see if he can do this, he has removed his shirt, now can he remove his pants. I want to test Salman's friendship," Aamir had told news agency PTI then.

Aamir's almost-nude appearance for PK last month left a reeling country in its wake.

Salman and Aamir co-starred in cult comedy Andaz Apna Apna 20 years ago and have remained close friends ever since.

At the Bigg Boss event, Salman also told the press that frenemy Shah Rukh Khan and Team Happy New Year would appear on the reality show.

The usually calm and composed Deepika Padukone has come up in arms against a leading daily which had apparently published a rather demeaning piece of news about her dressing at an event.

Deepika Padukone had worn a low cut dress designed by Anamika Khanna for the trailer of launch of ‘Chennai Express’ last year. This dress had come under the daily’s scanner for the low cut design. The daily, on Sunday morning, reframed and retweeted the photo-story.
When Deepika read the tweet followed by a picture gallery of similar dressing faux-pas, she lost her calm and gave the news portal a befitting reply.

The fans of the actress have also come out in her support. At the time of filing this article, that’s within 60 minutes of Deepika’s tweet, there were almost 1550 retweets. They are also asking the daily for a response to this. Deepika Padukone, with a string of hits last year and the recently released ‘Finding Fanny’ doing quite well at the box office, has most certainly carved her own niche in the industry.

With the love pouring on for her movies, there will be, surely, no dearth of support for the step she took today. Later, ‘Finding Fanny’ director Homi Adajania also tweeted in support and registered his anger. -
