IS DEEPIKA PADUKONE OVERSHADOWING SHAHRUKH KHAN?

Everyone is talking about the trailer or CHENNAI EXPRESS and Deepika Padukone’s accent in the movie. Her dialogue, “Kahan Se Khareedi Aisi Bokwaas Dictionary.” Has been the talk of the town. She has garnered more appreciation for her accent and body language of a Tamilian than Shahrukh Khan is getting for his role in the movie.

Deepika is riding high with back to back hits, COCKTAIL & YEH JAWAANI HAI DEEWANI. She has created a brand name for herself and she seems to be living up to it with the trailers of Chennai Express. If this movie becomes a hit, it will raise her bar to the next level.

Shahrukh Khan’s last release was JAB TAK HAI JAAN which was a hit but not a blockbuster. Deepika definitely has a upper hand, as the audience is more inclined towards watching her accent than watching Shahrukh in the movie. This movie will decide who takes the cake at the end.

Will it be Deepika or Shahrukh? Only time will tell…
