Happy 50th birthday ageless Sridevi!

New Delhi: A successful career, good looks, and a happy married life is what every woman in filmdom wishes to enjoy. But only a few are blessed with all the good things. Sridevi is one such actress who is living her dream, and seems to be enjoying every bit of it as she turned 50 today!

But that does not mean that things have always been hunky dory in her early years. A troubled childhood and her alleged affairs with much married actors barred her from leading a normal life. Thankfully, at the career front she was much adored by her fans and continued to make her mark in Bollywood.

Such a phenomenon Sridevi has been, that even now, the new crop of actresses dream of reprising her role in films like ‘Sadma’, ‘Chaalbaaz’, ‘Chandni’, and ‘Judaai’.

Even in terms of fashion sense, she has immortalised some of the looks she has sported on-screen. It was Sridevi who made white kurta-churidaar iconic and the chiffon sarees she wore in ‘Chandni’, dreamlike attire.
