Is Besharam Ranbir Kapoor’s Dabangg?

Apparently that’s what the Kapoor lad says! Looks like cashing in on Salman’s blockbuster film Dabangg is slowly becoming a trend in Bollywood
Shahid Kapoor recently confessed that in his new film Phata Poster Nikhla Hero he plays an ardent Salman Khan fan. And now we hear that Ranbir Kapoor too has been raving to his friends about how his film Besharam is his Dabangg. In fact, Ranbir teamed up with Abhinav Kashyap because he was keen on doing a Dabangg style film. And that’s just not it! Ranboo’s father Rishi Kapoor plays a cop in film called Chulbul.

While the Barfi! actor is claiming that his upcoming rom-com is his Dabangg, on the other hand Sallu fans were irked with first trailer of Besharam. The scene where Ranbir says to Rishi Kapoor, ‘Sirf Chulbul naam rakhne se koi Dabangg nahi ban jaata’ has offended many Salman diehard fans.

With Besharam being in the limelight for the wrong reasons, we aren’t sure if this film will turn out to be Ranbir’s Dabangg!
