Shahrukh Khan breaks the dahi handi at Janmashtami celebrations!

We’d told you Shahrukh Khan will be present at the Janmashtami celebrations in Worli in Mumbai. So here’s a picture of his, symbolically breaking the matka at the dahi handi event, but this is in Ghatkopar. The Chennai Express star became a ‘Govinda’ – a representation of Lord Krishna – and joined in the celebrations to celebrate the birth of the Lord.

Hoardings announcing SRK’s presence were all over South Mumbai and the aam janta was present in hundreds to catch a glimpse of the star. Shahrukh reportedly shook a leg to local Marathi songs and mouthed his own popular filmi dialogues. On a serious note, in view of the recent gang-rape case in Mumbai, the actor appealed to people to respect women.
