Jacqueline Fernandez to be roped in for Ram-Lakhan remake?

Jacqueline Fernandez, who has steadily been rising the film-o-meter, has another reason to be happy. The actress is currently in talks to play a role in the re-make of the film Ram-Lakhan. If the deal falls through, Jackie will be essaying the role of Lakhan's bhabi, which was played by Dimple Kapadia in the original film.

The roles of Radha, which was played by Madhuri Dixit, and that of Ram and Lakhan, played by Jackie Shroff and Anil Kapoor respectively, are yet to be filled in. However, if the grapevine is correct, Amrita Singh might be playing the role of Rakhee in the re-make. From what has been reported by a website, the actress has apparently asked for a bit of time so that she's able to make up her mind regarding signing on the dotted line.

Jacqueline, meanwhile, has been shooting for her film, Roy, with Ranbir Kapoor; and her English outing, According to Matthew. The actress was last seen in Kick, with Salman Khan.
