`Happy New Year` most nonsensical film of the year, says Jaya Bachchan

New Delhi: Abhishek Bachchan may be riding high on the success of `Happy New Year` but mother Jaya Bachchan has her own reservations regarding the film. She may be a doting mother but apparently the 66 year-old actress does not think highly of her son's film.

According to reports, at the recently concluded literature festival in Mumbai, Jaya slammed the Shah Rukh Khan starrer and was heard openly criticising it in the public platform.

She said that `HNY` was the most nonsensical film that she saw in the recent times and it was only for Abhishek that she even saw the film. Jaya also stated that it is only because of the kind of films in the recent times that she doesn't do movies any more.

Ouch! That might have really pinched Abhishek badly.

Despite criticisms from many quarters, `HNY` has managed to cross Rs 300 crore club worldwide and is still running strong at the Box-Office.
