After Aamir Khan, Kangana Ranaut to boycott award functions?

That, Aamir Khan doesn’t attend award functions is known to all. The actor has been preaching this‘No award’ policy since years down the line, and this year too he wouldn’t be present, despite holding strong chances of winning the ‘Best Actor’ title for his recent blockbuster, PK. However, apart from Aamir objecting the award felicitations, we also have a recent addition with Kangana Ranaut joining the same bandwagon, this year around. Yes!

Sources confirm that Kangana wouldn’t be attending any of these felicitations this year and might just stay aloof the glamorous do. Quite strange, right? Knowing that she has given one of the sensational blockbusters like Vikas Bahl’s Queen this year, Kangana is for sure to bag the Best Actress title. So how would all go without Best actor Aamir and  Best actress Kangana, with both of them protesting? Well, that’s exactly what’s putting the award organizers in a fix now.

A jury member from a forthcoming awards event said, “We think Aamir for PK and Kangana for Queen are the unanimous choices for best actor and best actress. But we’re told those two won’t attend. Since the awards are a visual vehicle these days with multi- crores sanctioned by television channels to capture the event, to not have both the best actress and actor around to receive their trophies is problematic.”

Well, now we don’t how how far will this report stay true but a few are strongly arguing that if Kangana and Aamir give away their awards, the titles might simply go on to award-friendly stars(Khans) and their favorite co-stars...
