A representative of Telugu film star Pawan Kalyan’s Fans Association sustained injuries after an unidentified person allegedly attacked him for failing to obtain entry tickets to audio launch ‘Gopala Gopala’, police said.

The incident occurred outside a hall in Madhapur area where audio launch of Telugu film ‘Gopala Gopala’, the multi-starrer with Pawan Kalyan and Venkatesh, was scheduled, Madhapur police station Inspector K Narsimulu said.

“The unidentified man asked the actor’s fan K Srinivas for tickets for an entry to the event. However, it seems he refused saying as he too needed tickets for his friends.

Apparently, angered over the refusal, the man allegedly attacked Srinivas either with a knife or blade on his neck,” Narsimulu said.

The attacker fled from the spot after the incident, he said.
Srinivas was shifted to a nearby hospital and is stated to be out of danger, the officer said, adding, a case has been lodged and further probe is on.
