Anushka Sharma is certainly a woman with substance. She has no qualms in calling a spade a spade and points that out loud and clear in every quote that she makes.
Be it by terming the beef ban ‘suffocating’ or citing how actors are unduly being paid more than actresses,
the NH10 actress has made some really honest confessions in the recent times. Deepika Padukone’s depression controversy turns out to be her next big concern which she feels has been horribly received by the Indian minds.
In her recent interaction with a leading daily, Ms Sharma took a strong stand for Dippy and argued, “When Deepika spoke about her depression, people wrote so many things about her.
She was doing it for a larger cause. Catherine Zeta Jones is dealing with bipolar disorder. Do people write such things about her? She had the decency and the dignity to talk about it openly because she was doing it for a larger cause.”
Well, she truly makes a strong point there! But only if our society gets it in the right sense. Do you agree with Anushka?
