Mumbai: Bollywood actor Salman Khan is yet to start shooting for his next, ‘Kick’, in Glasgow, as he has not been given work permit.
The industry heavyweight had to re-apply for a visa to UK after being denied entry earlier. Reportedly, Khan was not granted visa when he had applied for it initially but now has been allowed to visit the city as a tourist. Nonetheless, he cannot shoot for the film.
The rest of the cast and crew of ‘Kick’ has been in Glasgow for over three weeks now and will have to wrap up work and get ready for the schedule in India. The film in question also features ‘Race 2’ star Jacqueline Fernandez and Randeep Hooda.
The hunk of an actor, who has had thumping success at the Box Office in the last five consecutive years, has no film scheduled to release in 2013. However, fans of his will soon get to watch him sizzle on the small screen with reality show ‘Bigg Boss 7’.
Salman’s much awaited film, tentatively titled ‘Mental’, will release early next year while the actor has reportedly blocked Eid to release ‘Kick’.
Hope the visa woes end soon for the actor!
