Salman Khan launched Bigg Boss 8 with a live performance amid much pomp and fanfare in Mumbai on Friday night. The popular reality TV show goes on air from September 21.
Amid the hoopla, two hot subjects of discussion popped up. The first pertained to the ongoing ban Mumbai photographers have imposed on Salman. The second was whether the star would allow promotions of his erstwhile bête noire Shah Rukh Khan's new film, Happy New Year, which releases during the run of his show. In between, Salman also joked about close friend Aamir Khan's nude poster for PK.
The Mumbai paparazzi chose to give this event a skip too, and the 48-year-old star said he had to control over the situation. "What can I do? I cannot force anyone (to attend my events). I have not stopped them from taking my pictures. They have banned me and taken a stand. All I can say is do it quietly and respectfully, and not like macchhi (fish) market," Salman said.
