Salman Khan to romance Ileana D'Cruz in Barjatya’s next?

Things seem to have come full circle for the pretty Ileana D'Cruz as she’s reportedly bagged the leading role opposite Salman Khan in director Sooraj Barjatya’s next film.

Why full circle? Because, if you recall, Ileana was offered Salman Khan’s Wanted but she turned it down as she felt she wasn’t ready for Bollywood back then and the role eventually went to Ayesha Takia. Now, several years later, Ileana D’Cruz is set to romance the blockbuster Khan.

ApunKaChoice had reported a few weeks back that Ileana was in contention for the role in Barjatya’s film. Now she’s lapped it.

“Yes, I will be seen opposite Salman Khan in Sooraj Barjatya’s upcoming film. He (Barjatya) is directing this film eight years after Vivah, and I am glad that he’s cast me opposite Salman,” Ileana tells a Hindi newspaper.

The movie will reportedly be a family entertainer and will have Salman in a double role.

Ileana made her Bollywood debut with Barfi! last year and won a lot of praise for her acting. She’ll next be seen opposite Shahid Kapoor in Phata Poster Nikhla Hero.

As for Salman Khan, he has worked with Sooraj Barjatya in three films before, two of them superhits. This would be the actor-director’s fourth project together.
