An old Shruti Haasan? Any takers

If the latest buzz is true then very soon you might see a young 28-year-old Shruti Haasan playing an old lady on screen. Shruti will be seen donning grey streaked hair in Tigmashu Dhulia`s next titled `Yaara`.

Besides Shruti Haasan, the film stars Amit Sadh and Vidyut Jamwal who will be seen playing the younger Irrfan Khan and Manoj Bajpayee. `Yaara` is set in two different eras and talks about the friendship between these characters.

Interestingly, the film was earlier titled `Bichhde Sabhi Bari Bari`. According to reports, the makers had previously decided to cast another actress for playing the role of older Shruti but then the rockstar-turned-actress decided to take the plunge herself.

At a time when actresses in B-Town play hide-n-seek about their age, we have Shruti who likes to take a path less travelled by any so far. Kudos to her.
