Supermodel and reality TV star Kendall Jenner has become a victim of Twitter hacking. Three insensitive tweets were posted via the Twitter account of the 17-year-old model.

Another tweet stated that Kendall was involved with her rumoured boyfriend Justin Bieber. Kendall deleted the tweets immediately after she regained control of her Twitter account.

Sources say the actor will start shooting for the film, which is untitled yet, by the end of this month. His character is called Changez in the film.

Bobby was last seen in 'Yamla Pagla Deewana 2' in 2013 and did a cameo in 'Singh Saab the Great' the same year. Aishwarya definitely isn’t the one who makes Dhanush grin broadly…

Dhanush and Aishwarya’s marriage has been clouded by controversy since a few years now. First, there were rumours of him getting too close to Shruti Haasan for Aishwarya’s comfort and then reports of his attachment with Akshara became the talk of the town. The actor, however, refuted all the rumours but even then Aishwarya is not the reason behind his innocent smile.

No, I am not saying this out of my own accord. Dhanush recently shared a picture on Facebook of him with a lady doctor, looking gleeful. The caption below the picture, however, is enough to make it clear as to who is responsible for Dhanush’s smile. He writes, “The reason behind my smile my dentist, my sister Dr.vimala geetha.. Proud of u my sister”.

Now why he went to a dentist is something one has to dig further but you know who makes Dhanush smile so merrily

The Shiv Sena had threatened to stage a morcha outside Shobhaa De’s residence today asking for the celebrated author to give an official apology for questioning the government’s decision to have multiplexes screen Marathi movies at prime-time…

Free speech is becoming more of a myth in this country every passing day. But today we saw a sliver of hope in the idea of freedom of expression as police authorities foiled Shiv Sena’s plan.

The Shiv Sena has threatened Shobhaa De that they would stage a morcha outside the author’s house after she had tweeted against the Maharashta government’s decision to have multiplexes screen Marathi movies at prime-time.

De tweeted about the same, “Have been warned there is a Shiv Sena Morcha heading for my home at 1 p.m.” But to prevent matters from worsening,

the writer was provided with immediate police protection outside her house. She tweeted about that too, “Police barricades are up ! I am feeling perfectly calm and safe ! Thank you, Mumbai Police”

That was not all! After some time passed Shobhaa De was threatened with another morcha coming up but thankfully that didn’t happen either.

Voicing one’s opinion is quickly becoming a crime and political parties like Shiv Sena hardly help the cause of freedom of speech with their regressive ways.

Do you think Shobhaa De’s opinion on the Marathi Cinema diktat were justified? Share your thoughts with me in the comments section below

Cine unions don't seem to be taking Mumbai Police Commissioner Rakesh Maria's warning too seriously as they recently disrupted the shooting of Shah Rukh Khan's new ad at Mehboob Studio.

According to a report published in Mid-Day, the politically-backed unions threatened to stall the ad shoot for roping in foreign artists instead of Indians.

A source was quoted as telling the daily, "Shah Rukh was shooting for a commercial last Saturday night when a group of 50-60 political activists landed at the doorstep and threatened to stop the shoot. They objected to the producer roping in foreign artistes without permission and demanded to see their documents. The studio bouncers and members of the production team prevented them from entering the set."

The daily further added that the producer was asked to pay a fine of Rs.3-4 lakh for employing foreigners. And, when they refused to oblige, the activists started to argue and threaten to stop the shooting of the ad film. It was then the police was informed.

However, the line producer for the ad shoot, Arpan Fernandes clarified that the shoot was disrupted for a few minutes, but resumed soon after the cops reached the spot.

"The goons fled when the cops reached the studio. We had proper permission and work permit to rope in foreign artistes. Bandra police inspector Vilas Sutar was very supportive. I don't have any issues with any political party, but the racket needs to be stopped," he added.

With his portrayal of Byomkesh Bakshy getting appreciation, actor Sushant Singh Rajput is a happy man and he said that he will continue to explore challenging roles in his future projects.

It was something of a risk for both Sushant and director Dibakar Banerjee to reinvent the popular literary character as a young, inexperienced man in Detective Byomkesh Bakshy! but it seems to have paid off.

"The film has made its mark. It has got a lot of praise for its direction, production design and look. I am really happy with the way it is been received. The 29-year-old rising star has taken a short break post the film's release on April 3 and will begin shooting for his next soon. He is playing the lead in Mahendra Singh Dhoni biopic besides Shekhar Kapur's Paani.

I don't know how talented I am but one thing I am very sure about is that I will give it my 100 per cent. I will do it with utmost honesty." (Also Read: Sushant Has Become Byomkesh For Kolkata, Says Dibakar Banerjee)

Sushant's journey in the industry has been good so far and he wants to keep that momentum.

"All the films that I want to do this year, next year and in near future, I really want to push the envelope with them. It can happen only when I take on films that have very different characters. This is the intention and till now this has been happening so I am very happy," he said.

The actor has found a foothold in Bollywood but that does not mean he has grown fearless.

"There can never be a state of mind when you are fearless. You are always insecure. Either you are insecure about not getting what you want or you are insecure about losing what you have. It is a constant state of mind for everyone.

"There are so many parameters that are not in your hands. If you want to explore, learn and have the courage to do films that are actually changing the cinema, then you will be at peace," he concluded.

In a video titled 'Breaking the Cycle of Violence,' actress Poorna Jagannathan reveals that she was sexually assaulted at the age of nine and addresses the importance of speaking up about gender-based violence. The almost three-minute-long film is part of WEvolve, a World Bank campaign to empower young men and women.

In the video, Poorna describes her childhood living with an alcoholic father as 'a bit of a roller coaster' and says she was told not to talk about 'the darkness.'

"The other person in our house was silence," she says.

Poorna, best known for her role in 2011 film Delhi Belly, speaks about being assaulted and not speaking up: "My first encounter with sexual violence was probably when I was nine. There was a neighbor, a family friend who got his hands on me and he obviously told me not to tell anyone but I had learnt that lesson before. I've encountered so many situations as a child or as a young adult that were violent but I wouldn't speak about it. There was a code that you didn't talk about it."

She also reveals that travelling in Delhi buses left her body bruised and marked from the groping. "It was so routine," she says, a sentiment that might perhaps strike a chord with many female commuters.

"I always thought that silence was the best, safest, most acceptable way of coping," Poorna says in the video.

After the 2012 gangrape and brutalization of a 23-year-old medical student on a Delhi bus, Poorna produced and appeared in 'Nirbhaya,' a play by Yael Farber in which participants spoke up about experiencing sexual assault. 'Nirbhaya' won the 2013 Amnesty International Award.

Poorna, who has a role in season three of acclaimed American TV show House of Cards, is the latest celebrity to speak about being sexual assaulted after Pakistani actress Somy Ali and Hollywood star Ashley Judd. Bollywood actresses Deepika Padukone and Kalki Koechlin have also addressed gender violence. (Also Read: I Was Sexually Assaulted When I Was Just Five, Somy Ali)

Actor Emraan Hashmi, most of whose films have got an A-certificate from the censor board, is relieved that his soon-to-be-released sci-fi thriller Mr X has got a U/A certificate as now he can show the film to his son and family.

"I am more relieved than Vikram (Bhatt, the director) to get the U/A certificate for the film because I don't have too many films with U/A certificate," the 36-year-old said on Monday during the promotion of the film.

"But this is the first film that I, without any stress, would show to my son and my family," he added.

Produced by Vishesh Films and directed by Vikram Bhatt, the film features Emraan as an invisible guy, who seeks revenge for all the wrong done to him.

The actor also has some passionate and bold scenes with his co-star Amyra Dastur. However, he is happy that this film will have additional audiences due to the U/A certificate.

"I am really relieved that this film has certain additional audiences that "Raaz 3D" didn't have when we released it two years back because of its erotic quotient and blood," Emraan said.

"I am looking forward to kind of tapping into that potentially new audience," he added.

Emraan is satisfied with the final outcome of the film and hopes the audience will love it. He says it will be a roller-coaster ride for the audience.

"It is an absolute delight. It's like a roller-coaster ride with the invisible man, with the action sequences in 3D or even if you don't see this in 3D," said the actor, a couple of whose last films didn't do well at the box office.

Mr X is slated to release on April 17.

Similar to a sequence from Sonam Kapoor-starrer 2010 film “Aisha”, where she, Abhay Deol, Ira Dubey and Cyrus Sahukar bond round a campfire and over music, dance and drinks, the forthcoming TV show “Manmarzian” will also feature its cast indulging in similar adventures.

The cast members will be seen river rafting and bungee-jumping in Rishikesh, and they will also bond round a campfire by the Ganges..

The cast and crew of the show -- which is about self-discovery, friendship, relationships and exploring life -- were in Rishikesh for a two-month shooting schedule where they performed various activities including the campfire sequence.

"It was the best start to the shoot for the show as we started off only in Rishikesh and Kashmira (Irani), Shravan (Reddy) and I were living together there for a month. We bonded over bungee, river rafting and various activities. .

"The most fun sequence was the campfire sequence. When we got a brief about that scene, we were given the reference of 'Aisha' and were told to just have fun and chill as that should reflect in the shot and that's exactly what we did," Monica Sehgal, the lead of 'Manmarzian' said in a statement. "

"Manmarzian" will start on April 13.

Los Angeles: Actress Eva Mendes, who played Agent Monica Fuentes in the second "Fast and Furious" movie, is reported to reprise her role for the upcoming 'Furious 7' sequel.

Mendes, 41, who just gave birth to her first child with Ryan Gosling, played US Customs Service agent in the second installment "2 Fast 2 Furious" in 2003. She then returned for a cameo in the franchise's fifth film "Fast Five" in 2011, reported Ace Showbiz.

"FAST & FURIOUS 8 #RUMOR With #fast7 now in the record books, the upcoming NY based #Fast8 story will depend on whether they can bring back Eva Mendes' character: US Customs Agent Monica Fuentes," Latino-Review's El Mayimbe wrote on his Instagram page.

Aside from Mendes, Kurt Russell is also expected to return for "Fast and Furious 8" as Vin Diesel previously suggested, "I always think of these films multiple pictures in advance - I think of them as trilogies. Kurt Russell came in for this movie, but we really hired him because of the story that follows this - that takes place in New York. Cool stuff that not everybody knows."

Mumbai: Hearts of a million girls broke when news of Shahid Kapoor’s wedding came out. One of the most eligible bachelors of the Tinsel Town – Shahid – is all set to tie the knot with Delhi-based girl named Mira Rajput.

The date of the wedding is being speculated and the actor himself had hinted about his wedding being scheduled sometime during the end of this year.

However, if the latest buzz is anything to go by, then the ‘Haider’ star may enter matrimony with Rajput as soon as June 10, this year.

Wedding preparations are on in full swing reports suggest.

Shahid had confessed on Karan Johar chat show ‘Koffee with Karan’ last year that he wouldn’t settle down with an actress, for he had failed relationships with Kareena Kapoor (now Mrs Saif Ali Khan) and Priyanka Chopra, both of whom are his colleagues from the film fraternity.

And hence the news of him getting hitched to a non-film girl is no surprise.

June 10 or later, Shahid’s wedding is much-awaited.

Here’s wishing the handsome hunk hearty congratulations in advance.

After the ‘Humshakals’ debacle and the average performance of Happy Ending, Saif Ali Khan has decided to become a little more experimental with genres.

Though he has often played the suave Casanova in films, his other roles in films like ‘Ek Hasina Thi’,

‘Being Cyrus’ and ‘Omkara’ were highly appreciated. Hence, Saif Ali Khan has decided to opt for a different strategy while choosing films and has signed a three film deal with Ekta Kapoor’s Balaji Motion Pictures is a step towards it.

Earlier we had reported that Saif Ali Khan will be playing the lead in the adaptation of the Japanese thriller novel ‘Devotion of Suspect X’, directed by Sujoy Ghosh.

On the other hand, Saif Ali Khan will be soon seen with Katrina Kaif in the upcoming action drama directed by Kabir Khan titled ‘Phantom’. Produced by Sajid Nadiadwala in association with UTV, the film is slated to release on August 28.

Los Angeles: Singers Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez, who split in October 2014, reportedly tried to revive their relationship by giving it one last chance in December, when they checked out engagement rings at a jewellery shop here.

A source told Life & Style magazine that a bystander at the store asked Bieber and Gomez if they would marry one day.

Gomez said: "I hope so!'", but behind her back, Bieber was "mouthing the word 'No' and he motioned with his hand to his throat like a 'cut it out' sign, while shaking his head", the source explained, reports hollywoodlife.com.

After her breakup from the “Baby" hitmaker, Gomez started dating DJ Zedd...

"She thinks Zedd is marriage material and perfect dad material. They've talked about kids and both of them want a big family. Selena says wherever they go, babies and little kids always gravitate towards Zedd because he's so silly and fun to be around. Plus, she says he's super patient," said another source..

Alia Bhatt and Sidharth Malhotra might be making a hit couple together. But when it comes to individual fan following, Miss Bhatt happily walks away with the most popular tag. Yes! We took a look at their respective Twitter handles wherein Alia stands out to be a clear winner, with over 4 million followers to her credit. An excited Alia, took to the micro-blogging site to thank her followers for showing so much love. She wrote, “Soo a BIG HUG is overdue!!Thank you thank you all,4 million ;) BIG one for me.. I oath to entertain you( via movies, songs&jokes) forever;)”

Not that Sid lacks in terms of popularity. His drool worthy looks are enough to rule the social media, which I think most of you would agree. But talking about the number of followers, Sid’s figures are lying low for the fact that he joined Twitter much later to Alia. While Miss Bhatt created her account in 2010, Sid made his Twitter debut only in 2012. Hence, his current numbers are lying average with just 1.68 million followers to his credit. I am sure he will match up to his girlfriend soon, right BollywoodLifers?

For now, let’s give it up for Genius of the year, Alia Bhatt! Can I hear it from you?

Mr. X is about Emraan's character, who has a dramatic past that leads to the birth of a new character - an invisible man 'Mr. X' who seeks revenge for all the wrongs done to him.

"The scenes without Emraan were not easy at all. It was a great learning experience for me," said Amyra, who is content with the kind of movies and scripts that are being offered to her.

"I am extremely happy with the films I am getting. Neither am I looking old nor too young. I am doing films where I can justify myself as an actress," she said.

Remember Bipasha Basu grabbed headlines last year when she decided not to promote Sajid Khan’s Humshakals? While the Bong actress did what she thought was right according to her, today sadly she is bearing the brunt for the same. Well, not too long ago, we reported about ace fashion designer Vikram Phadnis turning director with Bipasha Basu and Rana Daggubati starrer Nia. But if the latest grapevine is true then Ms Basu won’t bee starring in Vikram’s directorial debut. While Rana opted out of the project recently because of date issue, rumour has it that producer Vashu Bhagnani wants Bipasha out of the film. But why?

Apparently, the makers of Nia are facing budget problems and therefore Bhagnani has now taken charge to solve the issue. However, Jackky Bhagnani’s daddy dearest has made it clear that he would extend the helping hand if and only if Bipasha is replaced. Well, Karan Singh Grover’s alleged girlfriend shared a great rapport with Vashu Bhagnani until last year when she boycotted Humshakals promotions. The film which was directed by Sajid Khan was produced by Sr Bhagnani and hence all this drama.

In fact, last year when Bipasha openly announced that she doesn’t want to be associated with Humshakals, Vashu Bhagnani got so miffed that he said in an interview, “I will not work with Bipasha in future. I should not give such statement, but I would try not to work with her.” Guess the producer is sticking to his words literally.

While talking to a leading daily, Vikram Phadnis didn’t reveal anything about Bipasha’s exit but spoke about his film being postponed. He said, “The delay is not because of casting or budget. The only reason is that I am currently in London on some work. Rana’s dates were clashing with two of his other films so he had to leave my film. We were initially supposed to shoot during the winter, but now the film has moving to summer. So, I am re-working its look.”

Well, apart from Nia, Bipasha Basu has no films under her kitty as of now. So if she is ousted from the film then its sad news for her and all her fans

Mumbai: After a long search for a fourth judge for “Nach Baliye 7", producer Ekta Kapoor might herself step into the chair to complete the quartet of judges for the forthcoming dance reality TV show.

According to a source, Ekta will not be present for every episode, but will have the power to overrule the verdicts of the other judges.

“The makers of the show are still working out her exact role, but it is said that she will be a 'maha-judge'. Ekta will make her presence felt only during important episodes and will have the authority to rule over the three judges,” the source said.

She will also have the power to bring back an eliminated jodi (couple), and can also eliminate a strong jodi..

Bollywood beauties Vidya Balan and Kareena Kapoor Khan were also approached for the spot, but nothing concrete is said to have come out of the talks so far. However, author Chetan Bhagat has been confirmed as a judge for the show.

Other than judges, “MasterChef India 4” judge Ranveer Brar is also expected to join the contestants with his wife Pallavi. The seventh season of "Nach Baliye" is expected to be aired on an entertainment channel in May.

"Audience will see my growth in this film ('Ek Paheli Leela') as an actor and as a dancer," the actress said here during an interview.

Gautam Gulati has been riding high ever since he lifted up the winner’s trophy at the Bigg Boss 8 finale. Not only did the Diya Aur Baati Hum win the show but also emerged as one of the most popular contestants in the history of the reality series. The hunk was in the news for having signed a three film deal with producer Ekta Kapoor but never confirmed the news. Mr Gulati however has revealed the name of his first film. Are you ready for it?

The actor stated that his first film is titled Udanchhoo! Gautam was seen posting the first look of the same on his Twitter account with a post that read,”Udanchhoo! How do you like it? Temme temme GGians.”

The venture will also be featuring Saisha Sehgal, who is Saira Banu’s grand daughter. We hear actors Prem Chopra and Ashutosh Rana too will be seen in supporting roles.

Well, looking at the banner, I’m compelled to say that I’m rather disappointed. The  poster merely showcases the name of the film and has no creative visuals to offer. I’m hoping this isn’t the final look of the venture and would wish to see a more impressive one in the coming days with Gautam and Saisha’s picture on the same.

Till then, tell us what you think of Gautam’s debut film’s title and first look in the comments section below!

The Kashmir schedule of Kabir Khan's Bajrangi Bhaijaan was to take off shortly, but sources say it has been postponed due to flash floods in the northern state. The deluge, which has claimed 19 lives so far, has been triggered by incessant rains causing severe damage to property besides snapping road connectivity in the Valley.

Sources suggest a major portion of the Salman Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan-starrer has already been filmed and about 25 per cent was to be shot in Kashmir from April 7. "Kabir wanted to shoot a few action scenes, a war sequence and a song amidst the beautiful valley. But now he has put the schedule on hold and the unit is gauging the situation," says an insider.

With the meteorological department predicting more rains over the next few days, relief hardly seems to be in sight for the film's unit. The source adds, "We had a 30-35 day schedule, but our hands are tied until the flood situation improves."

Kabir Khan was not available for comment.

Uday Chopra, YRF Entertainment boss, might be guilty of less than stellar acting but he certainly can't be accused of living in an ivory tower, as so many who breathe the rarefied air of Bollywood stardom often seem to do.

Uday's tweets are a reminder that his movie performances received mostly negative reviews and that he's spent much of his career in the shadow of older brother Aditya, director of Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge. The tweets are also disarmingly honest - few celebrities would survive being savaged by critics and at the box office and live to tell the tale with such self-awareness on a platform so unforgiving as Twitter.

However, Uday - you're nobody's fool. Your acting might be dissed in varied films, from Mohabbatein to Neal 'n' Nikki to the Dhoom series, but make no mistake - your reinvention as the chief of a production house that explores and promotes new and diverse talent and the journey that took you to Cannes last year as producer of the Nicole Kidman film Grace of Monaco has escaped nobody's attention. Grace of Monaco may have been trashed by critics but even so, there you were at Cannes, a stamp of legitimacy on anyone's CV.

If you must use a hashtag, allow us to suggest an alternative - #ProudToBeUday.

In addition to his responsibilities at Yash Raj Films, which he co-manages with his mother and brother, and the subsidiary YRF Entertainment, Uday also founded and owns a company named Yomics which turns YRF movies like Ek Tha Tiger and Hum Tum into comic books...

Actress Sonakshi Sinha does not agree with her contemporary Deepika Padukone's ideas about choice of freedom in My Choice, a short film aimed at spreading awareness about women empowerment.

The film shows Deepika talking about the freedom of choice that women must have regarding multiple issues, including having the choice to indulge in sex before marriage or out of marriage or not having sex at all.

"Women empowerment is not always about the kind of clothes you wear, not about who you want to have sex with or stuff like that. It's about employment, strength," Sonakshi said y on being asked about her opinion on the film.

"It's a very good initiative. It's coming from a good space, but honestly I believe empowerment should be given to the women who actually need it, who are kind of far away from where we are right now. We have been bred and brought up with luxury," she added.

My Choice, directed by Homi Adjania, calls for a change in the mindset of men about women and asks them to stop judging women for their choices of clothes, profession and life.

She feels it needs to "reach out to people who actually need it, like the deep ends of this country".

Meanwhile, My Choice is getting mixed response on social media. While some people have praised Deepika's efforts, some have trashed it.
