Remember Bipasha Basu grabbed headlines last year when she decided not to promote Sajid Khan’s Humshakals? While the Bong actress did what she thought was right according to her, today sadly she is bearing the brunt for the same. Well, not too long ago, we reported about ace fashion designer Vikram Phadnis turning director with Bipasha Basu and Rana Daggubati starrer Nia. But if the latest grapevine is true then Ms Basu won’t bee starring in Vikram’s directorial debut. While Rana opted out of the project recently because of date issue, rumour has it that producer Vashu Bhagnani wants Bipasha out of the film. But why?

Apparently, the makers of Nia are facing budget problems and therefore Bhagnani has now taken charge to solve the issue. However, Jackky Bhagnani’s daddy dearest has made it clear that he would extend the helping hand if and only if Bipasha is replaced. Well, Karan Singh Grover’s alleged girlfriend shared a great rapport with Vashu Bhagnani until last year when she boycotted Humshakals promotions. The film which was directed by Sajid Khan was produced by Sr Bhagnani and hence all this drama.

In fact, last year when Bipasha openly announced that she doesn’t want to be associated with Humshakals, Vashu Bhagnani got so miffed that he said in an interview, “I will not work with Bipasha in future. I should not give such statement, but I would try not to work with her.” Guess the producer is sticking to his words literally.

While talking to a leading daily, Vikram Phadnis didn’t reveal anything about Bipasha’s exit but spoke about his film being postponed. He said, “The delay is not because of casting or budget. The only reason is that I am currently in London on some work. Rana’s dates were clashing with two of his other films so he had to leave my film. We were initially supposed to shoot during the winter, but now the film has moving to summer. So, I am re-working its look.”

Well, apart from Nia, Bipasha Basu has no films under her kitty as of now. So if she is ousted from the film then its sad news for her and all her fans
