The contestants of Bigg Boss 8 explained themselves, clarified their stances and gave their opinions on various issues and controversies surrounding them at a press conference held on December 20.

After the eviction of Praneet from the show, the remaining eight contestants including Ali Quli Mirza, Dimpy Mahajan, Upen Patel, Gautam Gulati, Karishma Tanna, Sonali Raut, Pritam Singh and Puneet Issar faced the media in an intriguing press conference.

On being asked if he misses Diandra, Gautam replied in the affirmative adding that he would meet her and clear their misunderstanding once the show gets over. He said "She (Diandra) is a good friend and will always be".

Gautam admitted being attracted to Diandra and said "She kissed me. I kissed her back."

On being asked about the sudden bout of violence in his personality, Upen Patel said that he may faulter at times due to miscommunication as the game show is a test for him. He also said that he has made few yet true friends in the Bigg Boss house. Upen said he will always be there for his friend Karishma. Karishma, in turn, said she wishes Upen to win Bigg Boss if not herself.

Upen also clarified that he is not in the game show due to any financial crunch.

Talking about his growing difference of opinion with Karishma in the course of the game show, Puneet Issar said "We have to agree to disagree as contestants of a talk show." He added that it is important for every contestant to express his/her opinions freely. Puneet Issar also admitted to be short-tempered and said that he is trying to work upon his weaknesses in the Bigg Boss house.

On being asked about her encounter with former husband Rahul Mahanjan on the show, Dimpy said that she cried as he was leaving after the house party in Bigg Boss as he is "family" but they were behaving like strangers. Dimpy said that she was feeling alienated in the Bigg Boss house and she got emotional but she wouldn't like to rethink her stance on her marriage to Rahul.

The contestants of the Bigg Boss house addressed queries and cleared their stance at the press conference.
